Operation Lifeline Sudan: A Review (1996)

Operation Lifeline Sudan (OLS) has had a significant impact upon the humanitarian architecture and discourse in South Sudan. This review set out to assess and analyse the effectiveness of the OLS modus operandi in meeting the needs of war affected populations. Establishing a precedent for aid operations across the world, the lessons learned and challenges resonate in South Sudan today.
